I'm passionate about helping people find health, longevity, and the body they've always wanted by expending the minimal amount of effort to gain the greatest possible results.
To sum up 14 years of work history: I'm a computer programmer turned entrepreneur turned science writer / science talk radio show host. No real credentials in the fitness industry other than an understanding and love of science, and the ability to communicate it.
(As far as I can tell, none of the diet or fitness credentials out there have much, if any, basis in scientific reality, so I'm not going to waste my time.)
I had my first baby in October 2010. My blog is about going from mom to MILF using Kiefer's diets in combination with heavy resistance training.
My diet/fitness history: raw foodist (not vegan) for 4 years which helped me ferret out a gluten intolerance and milk protein sensitivity, but left me at 28% bodyfat most of the time, hovering at 140 lbs. Was a sucker for the "cardio to lose fat" myth and just figured if I kept at it, I'd get the body I wanted.
Now: I average 132lbs (depending on water weight) at 19% bodyfat, doing 3 hours of training a week at MOST, and I NEVER do cardio except for some Tabata intervals from time to time.
