I'm Michel Fortin. I'm an Internet marketing strategist and direct response copywriter who specializes in salesletters and web conversion.
For the greater part of 20 years, I've written highly profitable salesletters, and produced winning direct mail packages, infomercials, websites, and the like. I've also designed many websites and I own several businesses.
I often speak at seminars and run one of the most sought-after coaching programs online. But most people know me as the "Roger Bannister of Online Copy" for writing record-setting sales websites.
For example, my portfolio includes the infamous Traffic Secrets by John Reese (which sold over a $1.08 million within hours of its launch), Big Seminar by Armand Morin, Underachiever Mastery by Frank Kern and Ed Dale, and many more.
My client list includes: Armand Morin, Mike Filsaime, Mark Joyner, Frank Kern, Ed Dale, Michael Kimble, Stephen Pierce, Jay Abraham, Corey Rudl, Simon Grabowski, Miguel Alvarez, Shawn Casey, Yanik Silver, John Reese, Ryan Deiss, David Garfinkel, Jason Potash, Kirt Christensen, and many more.
As a speaker, I've shared the stage with: Jay Conrad Levison (of "Guerilla Marketing" fame), Mark Victor Hansen (of "Chicken Soup for The Soul" fame), Jay Abraham, Joe Vitale (of "The Secret" fame), John Assaraf, Alex Mandossian, Dan Kennedy, Andrew Reynolds, and many more.
On the personal side, I grew up in a small town of Aylmer, Québec, now called Gatineau. I went to l'École Secondaire Grande-Rivière in Aylmer and went to college in Business and Marketing. I also taught marketing, ecommerce, and professional selling at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada.
My beautiful wife is Sylvie Fortin (nee Sylvie Charrier), and we married on August 13, 2006.
My father is Gilles Fortin, my mother is Louise Fortin (nee Louise Quesnel), and my sister is Josée Fortin-Tracy. I have two beautiful nieces, Alexa and Chloe.
During my youth, my nickname was Spike and I've played drums in many bands, both garage bands and professional bands, since I was 11 years old. I played every style of music, from jazz and country, to classic rock and heavy metal.
Three years ago, I met my Soul Mate, Sylvie Charrier (now Fortin). She is my partner in life and in business. She owns Workaholics4Hire.com, one of the largest outsourcing firms online. Last year, Sylvie battled an aggressive form of breast cancer. She is now in complete remission.
Today, we live in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada), with our kids Paige and Tyler. Our two eldest, Celeste and Megan, both share an apartment together. |
