There's no reason you can't train facial muscles except for the fact that the range of motion and lack of an ability to grip with hands or push with your feet makes some movements difficult to carry out.
Not sure if training the facial muscles will improve your appearance if that's your goal. Also, remember, there's no such thing as spot reduction so by training the facial muscles you won't burn fat off the face...and for that matter, the face usually looks better with some fat on it!

That's an interesting question. I was asked about facial muscle exercises about 10 years ago and I recommended a book to the person asking, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it, so I will have to do some research.
The above comments are totally accurate, but you will undoubtedly work your facial muscles at the gym also.
Try not to get to caught up in trying to work you facial muscles. You could try facial yoga, and I have attached a video of this exercise. However, the yoga lady is botoxed/dermal filled to the hilt, so be careful you are not sold a lie.

If you delve to deeply into this topic, you will become engulfed in botox and dermal fillers, so just leave well alone.

Jack Lalane was a huge fan of this. He used to swear it helped him look younger. Check out good old (late) Jack on Youtube.com, a man truly ahead of his time. Hey, he made it to 96 and he did look pretty good.
