The beef protein in this product undergoes a process that removes almost all of the fat and then combines the beef with enzymes to break it down into small peptides, which the body absorbs very quickly (kind of like whey protein, which is also sold in "hydrolysed" form).
It also contains certain forms of amino acids that help to pick up extra ammonia in the system - not sure how much positive effect this has but it makes theoretical sense.
This product is also high in creatine, which is a proven performance enhancer and muscle builder.
On the down side, this product is quite a bit more expensive (on a "per serving" basis) than most other proteins and there is no good evidence that it is any better for building muscle, etc (in fact most of the research shows that whey outperforms every other protein for muscle-building and probably for its health benefits).
