How do I achieve fitness improvements on a daily basis?

A great article, and very positive, but how do you go about increasing fitness, each day? Is there really any evidence that small daily changes have an impact? and is there any time frame to achieve these changes?

You need a goal Karen. Something to work towards that constitutes and increased level of fitness. The guys here have talked about charity fitness events as well as more hardcore tournaments. Check out whats in your local area.

You also need a measure of some description, so you can be objective about your fitness improvements.
