Your overall goal should be to increase lean protein intake and decrease starchy and sugary carbohydrate intake. This will keep you feeling fuller and keep your metabolic rate elevated (and with good fruit and vegetable choices, will also improve your health).

For breakfast, if you like eggs, cook 2 or 3 omega-3 eggs, and have a piece of fruit. Or if time or taste doesn't permit, have a scoop of strawberry, vanilla, natural or banana whey protein (with the suggested amount of water) with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and 150mL of berry smoothie as a morning shake. I usually have a banana afterwards. Then for subsequent meals, choose a lean piece of meat/chicken/fish, along with a non-starchy vegetable or salad.

...oh ya, and eat oily fish (mackerel, salmon, sardines and some kinds of tuna) at least twice per week or take fish oil capsules (not cod liver oil).
