Can dudes take soya protein?

I'm with Mark on this one, but there are some interesting studies which suggest a possible benefit.

Researchers at the university of Alabama found that people taking a small dose of soya protein for 3 months lost more abdominal fat than those taking casein. Soya protein has also been found to increase growth hormone levels, which can contribute to building muscle and burning fat.

Truthfully I don't know. When there are are very mixed opinions, normally that means that nobody is right. I don't use soya, and I don't intend to. But that's because what works for me, works well for me so I don't need to, if that makes sense?

Im with Mark + Dan on this also. personally I found it hard to digest + it causes Gas! having small amounts of different types of protein is very beneficial, like hemp, Rice protein, seeds, nuts etc. so dont rely just on whey protein 100% of the time.
