What are the benefits of eating Quinoa?

Am aware of recipes but is it a useful food source?

Hello Trish,

Quinoa is an interesting grain as it contains lysine and is therefore a complete protein source. It helps increase IGF-1 which is crucial for muscle growth.

The fact its a grain means it can reduce insulin levels, increase satiety, improve cardiovascular health and improve gastrointestinal health.

Its something I should be using myself.
