Can you help me achieve my weight loss goal?

Hello

I started to take Xenical for a year and half with walking one hour daily and do diet program. I lost 18kg (from 146kg to be at the present 128kg) and then it becomes very difficult to lose more weight and very easy to gain more weight. Struggling to keep 128kg I stopped taking the Xenical but have kept the diet and added more exercise.

I would like to receive an advice on my following program?

I train kettlebell 50min hard training 5 days a week.

I walk 45min 5 days a week.

I am on the following diet:

9:30 am Breakfast : Tea with Fat free milk (I take Sweeteners and not sugar) + Fruit (Apple or Banana)

11:30 am Mug of Tea with Fat free milk (I take Sweeteners and not sugar)

6:00pm Main course which is Large plate of grlied or boiled Vegetable + 4 pieces of chicken or 3 Fishes and super mug of orange/apple juice

between 11:00pm _ 1:00am 2-3 apples + Tea with fat free milk (I take Sweeteners and not sugar)

Do I have to take any supplements to help me succeed in reducing more weight to reach 105kg (My goal)? If not then what would you advise me to do to achieve my goal?

Please help me to achieve my goal.

Kind Regards

Hi H

Your diet combined with your activity level would indicate that you should be losing dramatic amounts of weight. It looks like your daily calorie intake (depending upon the size of the chicken and fish servings) is under 1000 calories per day. At that level of calorie intake, I'm surprised you can complete your 10 exercise sessions per week.

Also, more importantly, such a low calorie intake should not be attempted without some kind of medical or dietetic supervision.

I can't explain why you have ceased losing weight under the circumstances you describe. So I have a few suggestions...

1. Review your daily diet and make sure you aren't leaving something out, as studies clearly show that people who are trying to lose weight usually under-estimate their food intake.
2. See your doctor and have your thyroid tested (although I have never had a client do so and come back to me with a diagnosis that their metabolism is not normal - it's usually under-estimated food intake)
3.You need to shift your daily food intake more towards the morning - your insulin works better in the morning and your testosterone levels are higher, which combine to lead to less fat storage and more lean muscle and a higher metabolic rate. You also need to try to aim to get "at least" 3 good servings of vegetables (if you make non-starchy choices, they won't foil your fat loss efforts) and 2 servings of fruit. Also, you need to get at least 3 servings of lean protein (including 2 servings of fish per week that should actually be fatty - salmon, sardine, mackerel, etc) - perhaps 3 small servings a day instead of your current 1 big one.

Hello H,

Looking at your diet, you don't consume much protein. I would suggest that you potentially whilst dieting have lost much of your muscle mass (due to low protein intake) and subsequently now have very little metabolically active tissue to burn off fat.

I think we need to help you get your hands on Mark's cutting phase program, it will explain a lot. Over the next week we will have this within the website.
