Mark: Would substituting bread for whole foods aid in cutting?

Hi Mark,
I usually have 2 servings of wholemeal pitta a day, one in the morning and one pre workout (28g Carbs per pitta). I'm trying to cut now (I'm on 140gms of Carbs a day now) and was thinking of changing the pitta for a whole food source. My changes to the following meals would be as follows;
Morning - 45g Oats instead of pitta mixed with 4 whole eggs. Would adding a couple of strawberries here be detrimental to my fat loss goal? If not how many grams?
2 hrs Pre workout - Medium banana + Tuna + Salad
Would switching to a whole food aid in cutting? Are there any other benefits?
Thanks,
Castell

Switching a starchy carb for another starchy carb won't do much to change your body fat (even if one has more fibre). Both pita and oatmeal are low-GI.
As long as your total carb intake is reduced, you can add strawberries to your diet and will improve your fat-loss results.
