Is it okay to weight lift on low carb days or should I lift on high carb days?

Hi,
I'm on a Carb cycling diet, 2 low, 1 high, 2 low, 2 high and it coincides that 2 of my weightlifting sessions (chest/back, legs/tri) fall on my low carb days. I'm still aiming to lift heavy and build muscle before starting any carb deletion workouts which is in 7 weeks. Therefore, my question is, is it okay to weight lift on low carb days or is it better if I change my carb cycling diet altogether so that weightlifting days fall on med/high carb days?
Thanks,
Castell

Assuming you've been eating adequate carbs on your high-carb days, restricting carbs for 24-hours shouldn't impair your performance in the weight room. If you were a long-distance runner, soccer player or played some other sport that requires lots of running, riding or swimming, with short rests, for over an hour or more, you would likely decrease your muscle endurance and performance by cutting carbs drastically for 24-hours but weight training has enough rests and pauses so that it shouldn't have this effect. One day of carb cutting doesn't actually decrease glycogen (carbohydrate stores in muscle) that dramatically in most cases. Also, as you become accustomed to training low carbs, it shouldn't have any negative effect at all.
