Is eating cold chicken good for "drying out"?

A friend of mine is on a very strict cutting programme told me that he is eating his chicken cold because his personal trainer said it was good for drying out when wanting to get ripped; is there any truth in this?

Hi Eoughan

Eating food hot or cold makes no difference whatsoever to its effects on the body. The one exception would be that drinking cold beverages results in faster emptying of the stomach contents into the small intestine and therefore faster absorption.

firstly to add to Marks comments, grill your chicken on a griddle any water and fat will fall out, preferably substitute it with turkey, its a much drier meat, sometimes people don't tell you the truth or feed you BS. For sure what you put in your mouth has an effect but you also need to take plenty of vit-c and water to flush excess water out, cardio, low carbs and supplements. A combination of a lot of factors and not just one single one is the key. Its an exact science so do your research and also learn about your own body and what works for you.
