Is it OK to have fruits at night and still stay lean?

Hi,

Is having fruits at night (1-2hrs pre bed) okay for someone who's trying to stay lean?

Hi Castell

Ideally, you'd eat most of your carbs and calories in the morning when your insulin is functioning better and when you have the rest of the day being active to burn them off. However, if you have an apple or a banana with a protein shake or something before bed, that shouldn't make much difference in your appearance as long as you don't exceed your daily calorie requirements.
