Hi Dan,

This depends upon what you are looking for but of the mainstream brands I found on www.TropicanaFitness.com, API Whey Protein and Mutant Whey were the cheapest of the quality 2.2kg products, although they do have a small amount of added carbs. If you want the carbs below 2 grams though, go with Reflex Instant Whey - only one gram of fat and 1.5 grams of carbs. It's a bit more expensive than Mutant and API but less costly than the other very low carb / low fat whey protein brands and is less than £40.00.

thanks, was looking at Gold Standard 100% whey, but its expensive.
Think mutant whey compares best to gold standard, and the price is very good.
as Mustant whey has 5g carbs per servings this wouldnt effect my cutting diet compared to taking Gold standard at about 2g would it? surely there wouldnt be a major difference in my results on getting lean?

thanks

Check out oneon.co.uk for best quality & value. quite a new brand, they make lote of claims about the good quality of their products, and so far all their stuff ive brought is spot on. follow them on twitter aswell and they usually give something away each weekend. (i dont work for them i promise!)
