Should I combine creatine & bcaa pre- and post-workout?

Hi. I bought some reflex Bcaa tablets & met rx creaitne tablets. Should I be taking their recommendation of 3 Creatine caps pre and post workouts and 6 bcaa pre and post workouts. Thanks

Hi Winnie,

Yes, take a minimum of 6 creatine capsules per day. On training days, 3 pre and 3 post workout is best. On non-trianing days, take 3 before breakfast and 3 just before your highest carb meal of the day.

Studies on creatine show that actually 5 grams per day is just about the minimum to get the full strength and muscle-building effects. Some studies suggest that you should "re-load" occasionally to top up to your full storage capacity and stimulate maximum growth. So every 4 to 6 weeks, double your dosage for 4 or 5 days

...and remember you can take creatine for as long as you like. It won't cause negative side effects, it won't mess up your body's ability to produce and absorb creatine and it won't cause cramps, bloating or a soft look.

Thanks for the reply Mark. Do I take the reflex Bcaa on none training days as well,would you recommend I took any other supplements as well, thanks
