Kelly Rennie: Does doing high reps at a fast pace with supersets make the muscle leaner?

I'm 43 & female, 4.11 inches short, & 52 kg. I have been been lifting weights for a year now, but people say im looking bulky. I was wondering does lowering the weight and doing more reps, say 20 make the muscles look leaner? I was increasing the weight; for example lifting 10kgs for flyes at12 reps. Instead, I've now decreased the weight to 7kgs and doing 20 reps at quite a fast pace. Unfortunately I never seem get that real pump that people say about. ;-(
