This product contains all of the amino acids you need pre-workout (all of the essential amino acids), along with arginine and citrulline (which boost nitric oxide / "NO"). It also contains caffeine and green tea - both research-proven to increase exercise performance. The only slight negative is that I've never been a fan of the amino acid taurine (which is the most prominent amino acid in this formula) because there is only a small amount of research to support its effectiveness for bodybuilders and athletes.
Otherwise I think this is one of the best pre-workout formulas for muscle-building and recovery. Also, the use of green tea is overlooked by so many supplement companies as a pre-workout ingredient - studies are starting to establish is as a solid performance-enhancer.
One thing to be aware of with this formula is that because it only has 5 grams of the various amino acids, you'd need to take at least 2 and ideally 3 servings to get the full effective dosage of essential amino acids that has shown such a powerful ability to increase the muscle-building process when taken before training. The product does recommend taking up to three servings for full potency.
