I have been looking into this product, and I have found a lot of different views on it. Has anyone taken this or know anything about it?
Thanks

DAA (D-Aspartic Acid) is a form of an amino acid which is involved in the natural production of testosterone and it seems to be the real deal and should be quite safe.
In a fairly recent study in humans, it was shown to increase testosterone levels by 44%. So by using a little over 3 grams of DAA per day, you can probably increase your testosterone significantly. Over six to 12 weeks, this could probably increase testosterone levels enough to improve exercise recovery, strength and muscle mass.
It will be interesting to see if future studies show similar results because although this study did seem to be well designed and performed, you need to see similar results from different research teams to be sure that the results weren't some kind of anomaly.

Would my testosterone levels naturally go back to normal after i come off DAA, or would i need to take something to bring it back down?
Just worried about Gyno and hairloss, as there hasnt been very many studies not sure of all side effects. Do you think it would show up on drug testing, as my job can involve random drug test.
thanks
It is theoretically possible that it could come up on a drug test if they were testing your testosterone to epitestosterone ratio (which you'd have to find out from the company doing the testing) but it is not a steroid, so it wouldn't show up as such on a test.
As far as test levels going back to normal, I don't think there is any data on this. The study only tested serum testosterone levels at 6 days, 12 days and 15 days (last dosage was on day 12). Three days after the last dosage, testosterone levels were still almost 30% higher than before they took the DAA but who knows what happened after that??
As far as hair loss and gyno, it is possible but if you only use it for like 6 to 8 weeks and assuming levels don't go much higher than 44%, then these types of side effects are unlikely. Usually it takes a substantially more dramatic increase in testosterone to cause these side effects. However, some people of course experience hair loss and less often gyno without using any supplements or drugs, so your natural susceptibility is always going to dictate potential for side effects.
