3 Days to go; is it safe to not eat any carbs?

Hi,

I have three days to go before my vacation. I plan to not eat any carbs, and drink 5 litres of water with protein rich foods and shakes. Also my other supplements will be vitamin tablet,fish oil, EAA'S and grenade fat burner.

Does this sound ok? Is there any carb free fruit or veg I could add?

Hi Quelly,

Low carb dieting is safe if you just cut back on the starchy, sugary carbs but still eat things like salads, peppers, broccoli, leeks, cabbage, etc.

Avoiding starchy carbs like potatoes, parsnips, rice, pasta, pastry, bread, corn and other high-starch.

The non-starchy carbs will keep your digestion rolling along and when added to the meats, eggs, fish, some dairy (ideally whey protein) in your diet are very rich sources of all of the fibre, vitamins and minerals you need.

Three days isn't that long without carbs but you still shouldn't suddenly add in tons of carbs on the first day of holiday, as it might have uncomfortable consequences...add the carbs in gradually.
