Can you comment on my workout program?

Directed to Dean Chamberlain.
My current plan is:

Monday - biceps and chest
Tuesday - triceps and shoulders
friday- legs and back

I just want to know what exercises to do for each session as every week I'm doing the same things, and it gets boring and I'm not seeing results.

Hey Brett, what are you doing now in terms of exercises, rep ranges, rest times etc. Post a little workout of what you do, and I can jig it up a bit or change it completely depending on your interests, goals etc.

Hi Brett,

The two biggest muscle groups are legs and back - so effectively training them together at the same workout is only going to happen if your are a highly conditioned bodybuilder and even then, you won't get maximum stimulation of the muscle fibres.

You might be better off going chest + back Monday / legs Wednesday / shoulders + bi + tri Friday.

Heavy leg sessions are the key to overall growth, strength, functional muscle and your body's natural production of anabolic hormones, so don't shy away from the real hard work required to properly engage in a balls-to-the-wall leg workout! This of course means that legs should be done on their own in your training schedule and prioritized...even if your goal is to build your upper body!
