Hi Ben,

I AIN'T a cook but for protein bars with oats, try PhD or CNP flapjacks. Not perfect for getting lean but they are great as snacks for hitting your calorie and protein targets and gaining muscle.

Hi there,

You can make protein bars at home follow this recipe: 1 cup fine oats, 6-8 scoops of chocolate protein powder of your choice(usually vanilla also works) ,1/2 cup of almond milk or water or skimmed milk but if you making a big batch try the former two as they keep longer if you will be taking the bars to the gym ,1/2 cup mixed nuts (mainly almonds,walnuts and brazil for the nutrients),1 tbs flaxseed powder,1/3 cup of non sweetened peanut butter.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except the fluid and add the fluid gradually until it becomes thick but not too sloppy then put it in a rectangular dish about 2 cm thick after coating the dish with cellophane and leave in the fridge for t least an hour then cut into desired pieces and then turn them over and put for another hour.
