A couple of my favourites regardless of your phase of training are Anator P-70 and torrent. Both are simple sugars to replenish glyocgen levels immediately after training and curb catabolism with the 20g of protein. Stacked with BCAA's and also creatine, these shakes are made specifically for post workouts. I would say the Torrent edges the anator because of the simple fact it contains partially hydrolyzed whey as opposed to the whey concentrate in the anator, hydrolyzed whey is absorbed faster than the concentrate. The specs are as follows,

Anator P-70 -

Protein: 20g
Total Carbohydrates: 66g
-Sugars: 26.5g

Universal Torrent-

Protein: 20g
Total Carbohydrates: 52g
-Sugars: 26g

Wow Dean, great answer...I totally agree!

They both also contain a huge whack of L-leucine, which is arguably the most potent amino acid with respect to stimulating the muscle-building process also!

David,

My number one choice is Growth Matrix by Reflex Nutrition, I've posted the link because I can't claim I made these statements but hopefully it will show you and support my choice.

I'm using Evogen Glycoject combined with Whey protein. Can anyone comment on it? Thank you.

Hi Irawan

From what I can gather, Evogen Glycoject doesn't contain protein and doesn't list the amount of citrulline or other actives (and the other actives are questionable to say the least). So as a stand-alone post-workout, it is not good in my opinion.

Hi Mark,

If I combined the Glycoject with Whey Protein, would that be enough? Thank you.
