Hello Rich,

I'm glad you asked!

Start your abdominal workouts with your lower abs. Aim to do 2 heavy lower ab workouts a week, with 1 high rep lower abs workout a week. Avoid heavy upper abdominal work, and also focus on the obliques.

This would be an example workout.

Rich,

Great advice from Dan, I suggest the same and always start my ab sessions by engaging the lower abdominals first, generally hanging leg raises working to a 2-1-2-1 ratio, I follow this up with high reps SB crunches. with regards to your obliques I would avoid heavy side bends and work with internal and external rotations as this will give you a much better V shape look with a narrow waist. Hope this makes sense bro!
