Can you give me some advise about protein shakes?

whens the best time to have a protein shake? some people are saying that they have theres after a work out and some people have them before, and then some people are saying they have on before AND after the workout. what will enhance the workout the most?

If a protein shake is your only supplement, then take it within an hour before training and right after training.

The next most important time is first thing in the morning, unless you are going to be eating a fairly substantial serving of eggs or some other quality protein source for breakfast.

You can also eat protein shakes between meals, with snacks or even before or with meals if the meal is not very high in protein.
