Hello Daniel,

Eggs are not dairy. And eggs are absolutely fine to consume when on your cutting phase. I tend to mix a few whole eggs with about 6 egg whites.

In terms of cottage cheese, when cutting I would probably knock this on the head. Stick to Casein powders as cottage cheese does contain carbohydrates also.

In terms of milk, I do go without when dieting, I'm happy to do without the lactose!

Hi Daniel,

While milk, cheeses and cottage cheese aren't good for cutting, whey protein (which is the second most prominent protein in cow's milk) is great for cutting and for general health. It has most of the lactose and the fat removed, leaving only the highest quality protein every to be evaluated.

So ditch most dairy but NOT whey protein!
