Is there anyway I can maintain/improve my bust, or will I eventually have to go under the knife?

One for the women! As we all know when losing weight...it comes at a cost and the first thing to go are your boobs! I have noticed many female athletes/figure models such as jennifer nicole lee, danni levy etc.. have had boob jobs! Is boob tissue all just fat? I used to have a good chest ..still have to some extent but im realising that the upper chest area is not as full as it once was! is upper chest work going to just build pecs and get rid of breasts! I am going to have to sacrifice my bust in order to get the killer toned curves I want :( or am I best saving for a boob job now! Help!

fat
Breast tissue is mostly fat, but unless you lose a real signficant amount of weight, you shouldn't see your breasts disappear. And breast size is somewhat genetic. That being said, if you lose weight, you might notice some decrease in your cup size. However, doing upper chest exercises to build the pectoral muscles that sit under the breasts will help to compensate for some of the loss of breast tissue and should make them a little perkier (sagging is something that I would be more concerned about than cup size, personally) but shouldn't make them disappear.
In my professional opinion, losing a little weight and increasing your muscle tone should not make your breasts disappear. And rather than worry about something that may never happen, embrace all of the wonderful changes you'll see and feel in a healthier and more fit body!
