Should I be taking caffeine?

Would caffeine help when trying to lose fat?

Caffeine increases fat burning by several mechanisms:

1. Caffeine increases the hormones epinephrine (adrenalin) and norepinephrine (noradrenalin). These hormones signal the release of fat from cells into the bloodstream where they can be burned for energy.
2. Caffeine increases exercise performance. Therefore you can burn more calories in less time.
3. Caffeine slightly increases metabolic rate so that you burn more calories.

So caffeine will help you to shed fat and lose weight but it isn't as important as an effective diet and exercise strategy. It's just one of the many little things you can add to your routine that, when combined, can significantly accelerate and improve your results.

Caffeine is in every pre workout supplement and many studies have shown the benefits of taking it pre workout... so if your looking to improve your workout intensity then i would recommend taking it in capsule form as its slightly more concentrated and won't make you feel bloated. However don't take it 7 days a week only take it before weight workouts or if your doing early moring cardio to give you that kick..
