Hi, I have a client that i have recommended to go on a paleo diet as she is considerably over weight and from her assessment i understood that she eats a lot of starchy carb.
The problem i have with her is she cant stand eggs which is making it difficult for me to give her recipes for breakfast.
can you recommend some healthy paleo breakfasts without adding eggs?
Thanks

This is an interesting question. My first suggestion would be to consider something meat based. Clearly if the diet is strict paleo, whey protein is out of the equation, so meat and fish does become important.
Is your client happy to eat meat and fish?
I would suggest foods like turkey bacon rashers or oily fish as the protein source.

I personally couldn't live without whey protein but if I had to and I couldn't have eggs in the morning, then I'd probably have smoked salmon sushi but substitute sweet potato for rice along with a few handfulls of berries, with a banana and some olives or something like that.
