Could you suggest a quality Supplement Company to help with glycogen storage disease type 9?

A friend's son (age 5) has been diagnosed with glycogen storage disease type 9.
they have been given advice to supplement his diet with cornstarch and possibly some type of protein but are struggling to find a good quality company that supplies it. I think the information they have been given is pretty vague so far, so any help / advice would be greatly recieved.

protein
I'm not familiar with that disease but the cornstarch probably is better known as maltodextrin (which is usually derived from corn and is a starch) and is sold by several companies. Most forms of maltodextrin are high GI (meaning they boost blood sugar and therefore the hormone insulin quite a bit and result in better glycogen storage). Adding whey protein (or if you don't mind spending the extra cash, hydrolysed whey protein) to maltodextrin will further enhance glycogen storage. This combination forms an ideal basis for a post-workout supplement for the glycogenic effects but also for its insulin-stimulating and muscle-building effects.
